Discuss and journal:
-  how you feel about your voice
-  how you use your voice to express your emotions
-  how your voice reflects your self-esteem

Develop strengths:
-  listening
-  rhythm
-  singing
-  risk taking
-  self-esteem
-  body awareness

This program was designed for youth at risk in a pilot program at the Youth Recovery Center at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and can be modified for adult programs and corporate wellness seminars.

What Youth Recovery Center says:

“Lisa is a skilled and enthusiastic presenter.  Her passion for music and dance encouraged participation by clients.  Some of the concepts she presented were outside some of the clients’ experience but Lisa was able to connect with each client to encourage them to open their minds, at least a little.  She geared her presentation to coorelate with the weekly themes that we use in our chemical dependency classes.  Lisa spent time with staff before and after groups to explain her material and process the group experience. It was a pleasure to work with Lisa.  She was both professional and fun!
