Meet Lisa
My Evolving Life
I have had a passion for music, education, and nature all my life. I started singing when I was three and produced Talent Shows in my backyard. For over four decades I have shared what has been growing within me as an author, educator, and composer. Now as a grandparent entering my third act of life I am now exploring Elderhood.
Music has been my lifeblood. Even though practicing the piano felt laborious as a child, I finally see the Pot of Gold at the Rainbow’s End which led me to become a music educator working with all ages, singing, playing piano, performing, composing producing, in both public and private education, charter and Montessori.
Nature has been my sacred sanctuary and I love sharing wisdom received from extraordinary mentors and Indigenous teachers, through all my gatherings, workshops and Land Journeys.
6 year old me feeding a chipmunk in Grand Lake, Colorado.
Exploring nature as a child led me to this spectacular summit in my life with the publication of my new children’s book, A SONG AND STORY OF MAGIC MOUNTAIN about a talking mountain who goes to sleep because people stop coming to listen to his stories. This literary adventure is about waking up, having a special way of listening and about the beauty of nature in a changing world.
The pandemic created need for content and I developed a complete, educational program designed for music educators, and home-schooling parents synthesizing decades of research, study, educational, and artistic experience. This Teacher Curriculum for Art, Music, and Outdoor Education, a companion Activity-Coloring Book and a Musical all designed for Pre-K – 5th grades are all currently available.

I love teaching, and as shared by a friend, “Just give Lisa a topic, and she can teach it.”
As an educational consultant, I love guiding teachers and students through creative portals of optimal performance.

As an elder in the community I embrace the opportunity to share wisdom received from my extraordinary life.
